No. Every Image711 tool runs with browser technologies such as Canvas and WebAssembly. Images are read, processed, and exported entirely on your device. We have no server that receives or stores your images, so they cannot be saved in the background.

Does background removal upload my image too?

Accepted Answer

No. Background detection and processing also happen in your browser, and the image itself is never sent to any server. The first use may require downloading a processing component, which your browser caches afterwards; it does not involve your image content.

After processing, will closing the page leave a trace of my image on my device?

No. Images exist only in the current page's memory. Closing or refreshing the page clears this data directly in your browser. We do not write your original image content to cookies or local storage.

No. Because images are processed entirely on your device, they are never sent to us and therefore cannot be used for any other purpose.

There are currently no usage limits. You can use any tool repeatedly on as many images as you need. For faster, more stable browser performance, we recommend keeping each image under 20MB.

All features are free at this stage and there are no paywalls. If we introduce more advanced paid features in the future, they will be clearly labeled on the relevant tool page in advance; you will not be unexpectedly charged during a task.

Use the Format Converter to convert HEIC to JPG or PNG. The converted files can be opened and recognized on almost any device or platform.

Will compressing an image noticeably reduce its quality?

Accepted Answer

You control the compression level: drag the quality slider to choose a ratio, knowing that heavier compression causes more quality loss. You can also use Target Size mode, which automatically balances quality and file size within your target range to minimize visible loss.

Should I choose PNG or JPG?

Choose PNG when you need a transparent background, such as for a cutout image or logo. Choose JPG for regular photos that do not need transparency because files are smaller. For a balance of size and quality, you can also use WebP.

No. Converting and compressing only change the file encoding and size, not its pixel dimensions. To change dimensions, use the Resize tool.

Most modern browsers and phone photo apps now support WebP and AVIF. If you need to share with someone using older devices or software, convert to the more widely compatible JPG or PNG.
