About the workshop
We built an image workshop—not a cloud photo editor
Image711 splits common image tasks into searchable, standalone tool pages: open, do the job, and go. Our default assumption—your originals shouldn’t be sent to a stranger’s server just to resize or convert a file.
Stance
When you need to submit paperwork, publish product photos, or fix a screenshot, you want results—not another app install or another account. Image711 puts those actions in the browser and runs the work on your device.
Local-first isn’t a slogan: it means we don’t monetize by collecting images, and the product stays a set of light tool pages—not a heavyweight cloud workspace.
Scope
Phase one covers: compress, format convert, resize & crop, rotate & flip, watermark, to PDF, collage, filters, text annotate, rounded corners & shadow, mosaic, color picker, EXIF strip, and smart background removal. They run in common desktop and mobile browsers.

How we craft
- Each tool page is both a search landing and a working UI—so you don’t finish reading only to hunt for another entry point.
- Copy mirrors real situations: file limits, won’t open, needs a white background—not stacks of parameter jargon.
- Batch features live only in tools that truly need them—no empty shell entry points.
What we skip
For now we skip login systems and payments, and anything that must rely on server-side GPUs. If we ever add a cloud step, we’ll spell out how data moves and update the privacy notice.
