Cutout & Background

Listing photo too big, and the kitchen is still behind it

A listing photo fails twice: the kitchen is still there, and the file is too big. Chain cutout then compress on the workspace.

The listing form bounced the photo for size, and the mug still sits in a kitchen. Those are two jobs. Image711 is a workshop: start from the roadblock, then keep the next step on the workspace instead of opening a second site.

Start from the roadblock

A white background and a kilobyte cap are not the same button. An all-in-one editor makes you hunt menus, export, then import the file again. Name the problem first. If the marketplace wants a clean subject and a smaller file, that path is cutout, then compress.

Use a single tool page when you only need one of those. Open the workspace when the photo has to survive both.

What stays on one page

The workspace is for a short chain — the same idea as convert, then compress, then a watermark — without hopping tool pages and without a round trip through Downloads.

For a listing shot:

  1. Remove the background and set white, or the color that marketplace actually named.
  2. Compress toward the form’s limit. A quality slider and a target size are different levers. Use the target when the portal wrote a number.
  3. Stop. Add a watermark only if the listing needs one.

Crop, color pick, and redact stay one photo. Do not drop a folder on those.

Nothing is uploaded

Reading, cutout, and export stay in this browser. There is no Image711 server waiting for the original. Keep each file at or under 20MB. The first background removal may pause while the on-device model caches. Later runs in the same browser are usually shorter.

If the phone file is still HEIC, convert it before the cutout. A transparent PNG that must become JPG is a different decision — see PNG to JPG. An exact kilobyte cap is the compress guide. A white cutout by itself is remove background.

A chain is not a batch

The workspace chains steps on the picture you already opened. Batch, on compress and on convert, is for a folder that all needs the same treatment. Do not mix forty SKUs into a one-photo cutout and expect one zip to decide for you.

Download the result. The original stays on the device. If the portal still complains, change the target, not the website.

FAQ

Do I upload the listing photo?

No. Cutout and compress run in the browser. Image711 does not receive the original.

Should I open two tool pages?

Open the workspace when the same photo needs a background and a smaller file. A single tool page is enough when you only need one of those.

Is a folder of SKUs the same chain?

No. The chain is one open photo. Batch compress or convert is the path for a folder that all needs the same treatment.
