Cutout & Background

Cut the background, then shrink the file

The product needs a clean background, and the form still caps the size. Cut out, then compress, on the workspace.

The listing wants the product on a clean background, and the form still rejects the weight. Those are two jobs. Image711 is a workshop: name both roadblocks, then keep the next step on the workspace.

Name both roadblocks

A cutout and a size cap are not the same button. Removing the background does not shrink the photo. A transparent PNG can weigh more than the original. Compressing the photo does not clear the room behind the product. If you only need one, stay on that tool page. Open the workspace when the same shots have to survive both.

What stays on one page

  1. If the phone file is still HEIC, convert it before anything else.
  2. Cut out the shots that share one background choice. Transparent, a solid color, or a background you supply. Up to 20 images in one pass, each at or under 20MB. The subject is detected in this browser. The original on the device is not overwritten.
  3. If the form then rejects the weight, compress the cutout export. Change the heavy file. Do not cut it out again just to chase a smaller number. A white field behind a product is the white-background guide. Meeting a kilobyte cap is the size guide.
  4. A shop name is a watermark. A phone number is mosaic. GPS is EXIF. Do those only if the listing asked, on their own pages.

Nothing is uploaded

Reading, the cutout, and the smaller file stay in this browser. There is no Image711 server waiting for the product shots.

Cut, then shrink

Download the clean export you will actually attach. Do not send the lighter original because the form liked its size. That original still has the room behind the product.

FAQ

Does removing the background shrink the file?

No. A cutout can weigh more, especially as a transparent PNG. Compress the cutout export if the form still rejects the weight.

How many images at once?

Up to 20 that share the same background choice, each at or under 20MB. A different background is a different pass.

Does a cutout hide a phone number or GPS?

No. Cover a number with mosaic. Strip GPS on the EXIF page. Those are not this button.
