Rotate

The contract came out sideways. The chat has to tilt — straighten first, and can you batch?

You finished the scan and the contract is landscape. Or the phone was sideways on the site. You send it, and the group has to turn their heads. This page decides whether to straighten first, and whether the whole stack can turn in one batch.

The contract scan came out sideways. The chat has to tilt to read it

You finished the scan and the contract is landscape. Or the phone was sideways on the site. You drop it in the group, and everyone has to turn their head. The desk that asked for a PDF will open a page lying on its side. The decision is narrower than a filter list: straighten first or not, and whether this stack can turn as a batch.

Three sends where the page is lying down

See who has to tilt. Use the cards as the decision:

Contract, scanned landscape

The scanner or the phone caught the page the long way. Clauses run sideways in a portrait PDF. Stand the page up before you merge. A sideways sheet inside an upright PDF is how a desk asks for a resubmit. The images to PDF guide comes after the pages read upright.

One message in the group

You send a single photo. Replies say “tilt your phone.” That file should already be upright — do not make the thread rotate their heads. Still holding iPhone .heic? Convert first, the HEIC to JPG guide, then rotate. A PNG the form will not take? The PNG to JPG guide.

The site: every shot sideways

Front, damage, context — the same sideways grip on the whole stack. This is a batch rotate, then send. A ticket that wants every angle on one canvas is the other job, the collage guide. Do not glue sideways frames and hope the grid stands up.

Rotate runs as a batch: many files in, one upright result per file. Keep each source ≤ 20MB. Mirror flip is a different control — it reflects left-right, it does not stand a landscape scan up. Preview and export stay in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Stand them up, then PDF or compress

Open Image711's Rotate / Flip. Decoding stays in your browser. Drop the sideways scans. Each file ≤ 20MB.

  1. Drop the sideways JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF files: one contract, or the whole site stack. Each source ≤ 20MB. Still iPhone .heic and the page will not open it? Convert first — the HEIC to JPG guide. A PNG a portal refuses? The PNG to JPG guide, then come back.
  2. Turn 90° until the text reads upright: when every shot shares the grip, the same turn covers the batch. Leave mirror alone unless the shot is a reflection — a photo of a screen, a mirrored selfie. Mirror does not fix a landscape contract.
  3. Download the upright files: the originals are not overwritten. The portal wants pages? Merge the straightened files — the images to PDF guide. The chat still rejects the size? Compress the upright export — the target KB guide. One slot wants every angle on one canvas? Collage after they stand up — the collage guide.

Upright first. PDF and compress come after

A landscape scan inside a PDF is still landscape. Compressing a sideways photo only makes a smaller sideways photo. Straighten, then merge with Image to PDF or shrink with Compress.

Image711 rotates in the browser. Contracts and site shots stay on this device. Nothing is sent to an upload backend.

The short version

Sideways contract, or a chat that has to tilt: straighten first. A stack from the same grip can rotate as a batch. Each file ≤ 20MB. Mirror is a reflection, not a turn. Then PDF or compress. Nothing is uploaded.

About straightening sideways scans

Can I rotate a whole stack at once?

Yes. Rotate is a batch: many files in, one upright result per file. That is not a collage, which glues frames onto one canvas and exports once. Drop the site shots that share the same sideways grip and turn them together. Keep each source at or under 20MB.

Will mirror flip stand a landscape contract up?

No. Mirror reflects the page left to right. It is for a shot of a screen or a mirrored selfie, not for a scan taken the long way. Use rotate — 90° or 180° — until the clauses read upright. Do not mirror a contract and hope the text stands up.

Should I make the PDF or compress before I rotate?

No. Straighten first. A sideways page inside a portrait PDF is still sideways, and a smaller file of a sideways photo is still sideways. Rotate, then merge with the images-to-PDF guide, or compress the upright file to a target KB.

Are the original photos uploaded to a server?

No. Image711 rotates in your browser. Contracts and site shots stay on the device; nothing is sent to an upload backend for processing.
