Strip the location, then send a file the form will take

The house photo still names the street, and the form still caps the size. Strip EXIF, then compress, on the workspace.

The listing wants the house photo. The file still names the street, and the form still rejects the weight. Those are two jobs. Image711 is a workshop: name both roadblocks, then keep the next step on the workspace.

Name both roadblocks

GPS in the file and a size cap are not the same button. Stripping metadata does not shrink the photo. Compressing the photo does not remove the street. If you only need one, stay on that tool page. Open the workspace when the same shots have to survive both.

What stays on one page

  1. If the phone file is still HEIC, convert it before anything else.
  2. Open EXIF, look at the location, then strip. One strip clears the whole metadata segment. The camera model leaves with the coordinates. There is no switch that keeps the model and drops only GPS. The original on the device is not overwritten.
  3. If the form then rejects the weight, compress the cleaned export. A strip is not a recompress. Whether to strip at all is the EXIF guide. Meeting a kilobyte cap is the size guide.
  4. A house number painted on the wall is still in the pixels. Cover that one image with mosaic, on its own page, before you send it. A strip does not hide what the picture shows.

Nothing is uploaded

Reading, the strip, and the smaller file stay in this browser. There is no Image711 server waiting for the house shots. Keep each image at or under 20MB.

Strip, then send

Download the cleaned export you will actually attach. Do not send the lighter original because the form liked its size. That original still names the street.

FAQ

Does stripping GPS shrink the file?

No. A strip clears metadata. It is not a recompress. Compress the cleaned export if the form still rejects the weight.

Can I drop GPS and keep the camera model?

No. One strip clears the whole metadata segment. The camera model leaves with the coordinates.

Does a strip hide the house number in the picture?

No. Pixels stay. Cover a number that is visible in the frame with mosaic, on its own page.
